The Robust Well Design course has been designed to improve participants' understanding of correct well design within Petroleum Technology and Drilling at Hydro. In order to achieve this, the course covers situations that have arisen in different wells previously. MindIT has produced 3D animations of various incidents in connection with this.

The 3D animations have been produced in CD format for use by participants during the course. Throughout the course the incidents are covered in plenary sessions. The participants are then given group work, where they discuss alternative solutions.

The individual groups then present their solutions to the other participants on the course. These presentations are filmed by MindIT and published on DVD, which can be used later to revise the material learned on the course.
