Aker MH in Kristiansand has selected the "Grunnkurs i Boreteknologi" e-learning course, a foundation course in drilling technology, in order to train around 40 newly-employed service engineers. As new employees within the oil industry, they will have to learn extensive terminology, particularly in the case of employees who have no background or specialist prior knowledge within this field. The foundation course in drilling technology will provide a basic introduction to these concepts in order that the participants can acquire a minimum level of knowledge of the industry and oil drilling. It is anticipated that the course will be completed by around 200 employees.

The participants have given excellent feedback concerning the course. Eight out of 10 participants thought that the course was exciting and felt that time passed quickly when they were on the course. The participants gave the course a score of 4.7 out of 6.
