SOTS course centre has selected our Learning Management System MELS for distribution of Basic Safety and Emergency Courses. The e-learning courses cover First Aid, MOB Boat, Fire protection and HLO.

The training consists of tre parts:
1. Theory (e-learning)
2. Practical exercises offshore
3. Practical exercises on safety center

SOTS uses the competence module in MELS to demonstrate competence in the different parts of the courses and to follow up each participant.

SOTS course centre is a full scale safety centre which offers training courses and qualifications in the areas of offshore, shipping and land based activities. The centre has a sea rescue facility, fire-fighting facility and a helicopter evacuation simulator, all of which are located centrally in Stavanger.
