Seadrill Management makes oil and gas available in a safe manner

Recent happenings across the globe increase the need of making oil and gas available in a safe and cost-effective manner. Seadrill Management wants to educate its drillers and assistant drillers in order to secure well control under challenging conditions world wide. Seadrill selected MindIT in order to develop an advanced well control course. It could prove to be crucial in order to avoid future accidents and help Seadrill reach its targets of no injury to people and no harm to the environment.

Project “Advanced well control” in brief

MindIT is the learning company responsible for the content structure of the course. In this project we cooperate with visCo, a leading visual content and 3D application provider. The aim of the course is to educate drillers and assistant drillers how to interpret signals from a well in order to take corrective actions.

The course is developed during Quarter 4 of 2010 and Quarter 1 of 2011.
